I'm having 1 GB micro sd memory card for my mobile nokia E71 and it is password protected , actually iIhave forgotton the password. memory card is not openinng its asking for password .... i have tried...

You can lose the data on the memory card as long as u didnt format the memory car but there are no way to unlock it without the password, keep on trying the password and u will get into it. If u format the memory card the passowrd will be wiped and your data will be lost. Thanks

I have a Nokia E71 and using SIM from my old mobile phone to transfer contact directory to the E71 phone. I have contacts in SIM directory and put my SIM card in new E71 phone. I still could not get a copy...

open "address book", then press "option"scroll down to "SIM contacts" and press the right-navigation key and select "SIM Directory"

It will display contacts on your SIM card. To copy contacts from SIM to phone memory. Select "Options" then scroll down to "Mark/Unmark" press right-navigation key and select "Mark All" then select "Options" again and then select "Copy to Contacts"

That will copy your contacts from SIM to Phone directory.

Have a look at your manual page 35 for instructions
(Some supplied memory cards are preformatted; others require formatting. When you
format a memory card, all data on the card is permanently lost.
1. To format a memory card, select Menu > Gallery or Applications, the memory card
folder , and Options > Format memory card > Yes.
2. When formatting is complete, enter a name for the memory card.)
