First, with your pc connected to your current monitor, change the resolution to 800x600, turn off the pc, connect it to your tv via VGA or DVI, and turn on the pc, check your tv manual, seek the highest resolution supported and configure it ON PC. If the resolution is higher than your tv supports, will be no image.

Cannot connect to HDTV when charging

Check your power saving settings. You have different setting for when it is using a battery versus when it is not. It's probably turning off the video output after a certain amount of time to save energy.

How do I connect a PC to a LG50PG20 50" HDTV Plama?

You need a VGA cable (15 pin) connected from PC (monitor out) to the PC input on the HDTV (15 pin) this is for the video. For the audio, connect from PC to HDTV, audio cable, either 3.5mm from earphone out on PC to HDTV 3.5mm audio input (next to PC VGA input) and also be sure to set PC screen resolution to compatible output for HDTV like 1024 X 768 or 600 x 800 etc.

You cannot set your PC video resolution to 1920x1080 @60Hz?

Per user manual:
1. Set computer to a resolution supported by your HDTV (see Preset PC Resolutions). If your
computer supports it, we recommend 1920x1080 @60Hz.
2. Turn off the power to your HDTV and Computer.
3. Connect the VGA cable from your computer to the RGB PC jack on your HDTV.
4. Connect the 1/8-inch audio cable from your computer to the RGB PC Audio jack on your HDTV.
This step is optional and only needed to transmit audio from the computer through the TV.
5. Turn on the power to your HDTV and computer.
6. Select RGB using the INPUT button on the remote control or side of your HDTV.
Note: Refer to your PC computer user manual for more information about the video output requirements.

Samsung hdtv to compaq pc

There should be a setting within the comp. Is it connected to the comp monitor and the tv? Perhaps from the comp to the tv with the monitor from the comp as well? Well if so, you may need a certain setting within the comp. Check under (on xp) display properties, and then under the settings tab. Please rate!
