I have Powerspec tv , after turning on the TV ,no pictures after a second?

I am not familar with powerspec tv, but logitech makes programable remotes that can control many different components. check thier web site for info on the remotes and you can ask them if it will work.

The power supply circuit inside the tv may be bad. Normally a bad capacitor is the culprit. You may visually inspect the circuit (the first circuit connected to the power chord inside) for leaks or swollen capacitor. The entire power supply circuit may have gone bad. Test if there is power coming out of the circuit to verify.

I had the same problem it's the power it switches on is off and off is on I had to plug and unplug it from the back and shock the television until it remained off than you can turn the tv on and you'll get a picture.

I am am having a lot of trouble finding good setting for your TV or a similar model made by the same company. I got a few things to ask. Do you have any pixar dvd's or blu-ray's? some DVD's have a easy calibration guide right in the disk that works well enough to get a decent picture. There are even several games out there with them.

I did get a little info that may help. You can do a full factory reset by doing the following:

1. Turn the PowerSpec LCD TV/Monitor OFF with the Power button on the top of the unit.
2. Press and hold the Channel + button, then press and release the Power button.
3. Your PowerSpec LCD TV/Monitor will now be returned to the factory default settings.

This can help if you get the setting out of wack. Send me a message if you have any of the calibration items. There is also several disks you can pay for such as:

Digital Video Essentials (blu-ray,dvd or even hddvd) is a good one and I have heard nothing but good things about it.

Monster calibration wizard is another.

SMPS (switched mode power supply ) circuitary fails to perform its function properly and giving irregular supply to the main circuitory of the TV because of having some failure of electronics component housed on this circuitory.
 
check those components by the means of multimeter or other testing equipment,replace those with the new ones and enjoying your watching TV without any hindrance.

check the oscillator

turn tv on picture comes up 2to3 seconds later tv blacks out then stand by red light flashes 4 times in a row repeatedly..can not turn on or off when stand by light starts flashing but before tv blacks out you can turn tv on and off repeatedly and picture and sound work.You have to unplug power cord for 30 seconds after stand by light comes on to get tv to turn on.
