Hi, Sennheiser SHOULD still service these. I'd recommend having another go.
However, i'd like to clarify which part of your system has failed. Is this the locking jack plug on the ME2 / ME4 tie clip mic. A common failure point.
Or the antenna on a beltpack (also common), or something else?
They're both fixable, the locking plugs are available to buy now from other suppliers. And the antenna are just an m3 plug with a solder bucket in the top. A HOT soldering iron, and a bit of heatshrink can repair these.

Try taking it to a local electronics repair place. Phone first and see if they do microphone repairs. It should be an easy repair for a tech with good soldering skills. Better yet try to find somebody that works on surface mount technology electronics as they will have the equipment to work on something that small .Hope this helps.
