Its a known issue. There is a firmware update available from the LG website. Download the file LG_BD_370M_UPG_LG_V7154.zip and follow the instruction from the website. It solved the issue for me.
I found the LG guide a little frustrating, but just make sure you save the file only to the root directory of your USB or CD-R/DVD-R
The file comes in a compressed 'zipped; format. It needs to be unzipped and burned or saved to your CD-R/DVD-R or USB as a single file called LG_BD_370M.ROM. Copy this to the root (don't put it in a folder,just the file as is) on your USB drive.
Switch off the BD370 and insert the USB or CD-R/DVD-R.
Switch on the BD370 and after it has started up, you will get a message that it has located the update file and you can press OK to install it.
It will then turn itself off. You hopefully can play the DVD next time you turn the thing on :)
