Never had any problems with the DV-360 before, but now when I play a DVD, it only plays in black and white. I can get it in color by pressing the Teletext button on the TV remote, but then the green Teletext pages numbers show through and disturb the picture. There doesn't have to be a DVD in the player either. As soon as I turn the DVD player on, the TV screen turns black and white. The TV is an old Philips, bought in 1994, but it appears to be working fine - except for when the DVD player is turned on. Any hope? And where does the problem lie -- in the TV or in the DVD player?

Thanks so much! You could be right, but a friend has given me her old TV (which was better than mine), so I'm using that now. The DVD player works fine with the other TVs I've tried it with, so the problem was with the TV. The kids might have inadvertently hit some button on the remote and messed things up. I'll tell the next people who use my old TV to try your solution if they need to.
