Could also be water pump, sometimes the seam seperates and causes leaking during wash cycle. Its a pretty easy fix

That could be 1 of a couple things.

1) During the agitate cycle... some water could've made it out of tub.

2) Possible Tub Crack (or overflow line)

3) Check your inlet lines

I would run it again watching it very carefully to determine if any of these are the problem.

Fabric softener dispenser is not dispensing the fabric softener until after the wash is completely finished

I have the exact same problem, Speed Queen washer, top loader. The machine still has some fabric softener in the cup, but the more irritating problem is the puddle of softener underneath the finished load. I had bought a SQ because they seemed old school and I thought it would mean problems would be simpler to repair.

I have a kenmore washer that is leaking bad underneath in the front making puddles of water. Im constantly keeping towels down everytime I wash a load. Could you please tell me what might be wrong? Thank...

Check the front door boot first. Make sure that there are no tears in it.

Remove the back of the washer, start a fill cycle and observe outer tub sections and hoses for leaks. This is a good place to start.
