36 magnavox tv shuts off by itself

My magnavox tv shuts off by itself also. The model number is 20MS2331/17.

I also have the same problem, the situation has deteriorated now to the point that it doesn't work at all. I also have the same problem, the situation has deteriorated now to the point that it doesn't work at all.

our 36 inch magnavox t.v shuts off a few seconds after turning on.  we could turn it on and off about fifty times and it would stay on eventually after it would warm up.  now it has gotten worse and wont stay on at all. The green light stays on like it is still on but it isn;t.  would like to know if it is a simple fix or is this an expensive fix.  thanks

Have the same problem but found out by accident that it comes on and stays on after it has gotten warm. We left our heater on in the house one day to return to a smoldering home. Not on fire but 85 degrees inside. Turned on the TV and it worked fine! Now, when I want to watch the TV, I get my blow dryer and heat up the inside and after 5 minutes or so, I can turn it on!!! That's getting really old!!!!! I want a fix for it. I call it blow starting my TV... Have the same problem but found out by accident that it comes on and stays on after it has gotten warm.
