Dear sir/mdm,
I have problem with the ML9000 series polarising microscope and need help. There is power when it is switch on but there is no light . Check bulb and is in good condition.

It is most likely your dimmer control switch. It is a variable resistor that controls how much voltage is going to your bulb. You will want to contact a local microscope repair company that services Olympus microscope in order to either get it fixed, or to get the part.

If you did not get a DC power supply with the phone then it is either an optional item or it does not have the option. Does it have a DC power input jack? If it does, most (but not all) will be labeled with the polarity and voltage. If it is labeled, you could bring your phone to Radio Shack and get help picking out the right power supply.
