One side of the door on my Fuji s300 where the card goes in has broken off. The other side is still intact. Right now I keep the door closed with a piece of duck tape. Can the door be replaced and where can I purchase a new door.

Didn't fix the problem. Part not available so duck tape will have to do until I'm forced into another camera. I like this camea but both Fuji's I purchesed had the same problem with a door. The other was the battery door where the tabs that kept the door closed chipped off so the door would not stay closed.
I will not purchse another Fuji.

I hv a Mercedes Benz CLK. 200 automatic car. It's battery is dying unless it is started every single day. So I changed battery to a brand new one, changed alternator but still now, even after starting...

There is a possibility that there is a low consumer of power which stay on even after you lock the the vehicle. Here is a list of possible causes; Check if all the door switches are not broken, if they are broken the door lights will remain on and since they are covered when the doors are closed you won't notice.Check also the glove box switch if it's intact and working properly, that's if the glove box light goes off upon closing. You may also check if the boot closes properly and if the boot lights goes off.

The frdge door does not close on its own

before any test clean the seal around the door and refrigerator with warm soap and water.

you may have a seal problem, check around the door, make sure the seal is intact. check for tears,

liquid, a pinched seal. take a sheet of paper and put it in between the door and refrigerator while

holding the door closed. check all around the door, if you can pull the sheet out without any

hesitation that's where your seal is broken. good luck!

The device will not close, It looks like there are two teeth sticking out on the inside that is not allowing the door to close. any ideas? We really need some help here. THanks . John

The solution to this problem is not really intuitive, but pretty easy. The small blade inside the CT-S300 occasionally gets stuck and must be manually retracted. You will need to obtain a small Philips-head screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver into the "cutter lock release fitting eye-hole" located on the right-hand side of the unit. Crank the screwdriver to the right several times to retract the blade. Look down inside the unit as you crank

Sony Dual-Deck Cassette Player/Recorder, doors won't close

Are both sides not staying shut? If it's only one side, look to see if the latch is broken. You should see an arm move when you press down the eject button - while the door is open, press the eject button and see where the arm moves. You should see a hook that catches the door and keeps it closed. It could be broken, or just jammed. Look at the other side of the deck and see it it looks like it's working the same. Unjam the latch arm if it's stuck, or replace it if it's broken.

Err message

This problem is caused by the plastic memory card door.

There is a door that hides the memory card on the back of the camera.

The door has a small plastic part on the left side that when the door is closed fits inside the camera.

When the door is open this part is exposed. It is right next to the "^" in "^ PUSH TO EJECT"

If you place one drop of superglue on the top of this little plastic part of the door(when open) and let it dry overnight(LEAVING THE DOOR OPEN OVERNIGHT.)

This will slightly build the plastic up about .05-1mm.

The problem is caused by the plastic part being about 1mm too small, liking resulting from normal wear.

I have tested this, and it seems to have resolved my issue with the S1 Pro I bought on e-bay

Card-cover open

Look for the switch on the memory card door of your camera. Usually a small piece of plastic on the door closes the switch when the door is closed. Check to make sure that the plastic piece is not worn down and is making contact with the switch. You can confirm that this is the problem by powering on the camera while closing the switch manually with a toothpick. Make sure you keep your fingers clear of the extending lens while doing this. If the plastic is worn down or broken off, try attaching a small piece of scrap plastic with super glue.
