Hi.

If you hear an high pitched noise or rumble that becomes louder when spinning at speed, then you may have dislodged the drum bearing or broken the drum bearing spider.

The part is located at the back of the drum.

Washer clothes

Your load is out of balance.
If you have a heavy item, spread it around the tub to balance the load.
It is normal for the tub to shake during the spin cycle. The washer has a safety feature, if it is too badly out of balance it will shut itself down and sound an alarm.

My Frigidaire FWT645RHSO front load washer sounds like a propeller airplane when it spins...HELP!

Robin, it sounds like the tub bearings may be going out on your machine. With the washer empty, reach inside at the top and gently lift the inner stainless steel tub. Does it move up and feel like there is some slop or play in the tub. If the bearings are tight, the inner tub will not move much at all independently of the complete outer tub assembly.
Have you noticed any grease on any clothes recently? Usually what happens is the water seal fails and the water eventually washes the grease out of the bearings and they fail.
Depending on your skill level, there are some good online blogs about tub bearing replacement. You may not want to deal with it. You have to make the call on that. Thats my 2 cents worth. Good luck.

Our Kenmore Model 110 70 Series washer is overfilling the tub on all load sizes. Can you please suggest what the problem might be? We moved recently and the washer was working fine before the move, but...

If you just recently moved, you may have a simple problem of a disconnected air hose on the pressure switch. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r762094-washer_overflows

The washer water level is controlled by a pressure switch behind the load level selector knob inside the operator console. Often what appears to a major problem turns out to be something minor. Since you moved recently, the vibration from moving the washer may have caused the small plastic air hose on the pressure switch to fall off. Read through the link provided and let me know if you have any questions. I hope this helps you.

Balance Issues

Depending on the model you have the gwl 10 and 11 have a bal sw located under the console the sw may be engaging causing your problem. ( maybe corroded or shorted ) Or in later and current models they also have bal/shock struts on each side, one of the four maybe worn causing your unit to go out of bal.
