I just received my invicta reserve subaqua specialty watch with isa 8173 quartz gmt with alarm and I cannot figure how to set alarm, even with enclosed instructions

you cannot fix this. Unfortunately for movements to be that exact they cost a lot of money and the movement inside your subaqua is not that high tech and accurate. This is what makes watch really expensive the little things like this. Unless you are buying a 10k watch , they usually are not going to have the top of the line movement . The movement you have in your watch is an ISA 8173 and that is as accurate as the watch will get.
