LG'S HL-DT-ST-DVDRAM GH22NS50 drivers installed but cannot find hardware device, Code 41. Checked cables to motherboard.

Hello,
the device manager says i have this cd drive (HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GH22NS50)
i checked in the device manager and it says that the devive is working properly.
And also i do not recieve any errors when i put a cd in the drive, it simply doesnt read it.. if i go to my computer and try to click on cd drive the computer freezes.. help

I can't work with my DVD Drive LG HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GH22NS50. It is saying (Code 10) thanks
you might have to uninstall both the dvd/cd + its drivers then reinstall them actually unplug the cd/dvd from its power cable then restart your computer plug it back in your computer should activate found new hardware or
control panel admistrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down cd dvd rom drives right click you can you can update driver,roll back driver,or select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall

you must be certain that the media your using to burn to are that of the dvd- format, otherwise it wont work.

you need to do
1) confirm the dvd driver works ok at other same laptop or find a usb dvd drive adapter to check it works well or not, the dvd driver damage if not
2) check the dvd interface pins (no damage or disconnection) on the motherboard, there is hardware problem that you can not see or heard any lights and driving sounds when the power on
