38 '' RCA TV XBOX Model 36V550T, lost the picture

run yellow cable from xbox to TV vide input for picture!, now run the red/white cables to AUX ibput on the RCA and push function till you see aux and poof, you got Video on the tV and audio from the surround sound.

the deflection board has failed. You would require the ITC222A deflection board which is the second board listed on the following page which has a warranty and comes with installation instructions

If it is a RCA 36V550T do you hear a high pitched sound from set before you try to turn it on?

The model indicated is well known for the High Voltage transformer and or a sweep transistor failing.

The transistor is easy to check with a ohm meter and if shorted 100% chance it and the transformer are both bad (usually just the two parts)

That's a CRT... it's inherently analog. If you use the right equip, you could get a digital signal to display on it, but the picture would still be analog.

apparently this is a common fault with this model, contact the retailerfor a refund or repair. pitiful power supply, poor-quality electronics, etc.

hiya sounds like the remote has de-registerd it self with the telly. all you need to do is find out the infered codes for that telly and do the [set] - [TV]combo with the numbers after.
