I want to convert from jpeg to mpeg3

I have a cellphone charging machine. Attached to this machine is a media player. I have jpeg photos/pictures that I want to covert to Mpeg3 so that I can play on the media player. I was told that if I can create a slide show on powerpoint with the jpeg photos I can convert the slide show into Mpeg3 format to play on the media player.

How to add text to the jpeg photos

I use powerpoint on open office. My computer operating system is Windows XP

The two are not compatible. Jpeg is one of the formats for pictures and Mpeg3 as far as I know is a format for sound files. Each type would need a different type of player to play them although some players have the ability to play sound, Video and picture files.

I can view some pictures but for others I get unsupported media format. All pictures are Jpeg. why some can be viewed but not all?

The JPEG's that won't display are probably too high a resolution or the file size of the image may be too high. If you are using sandisk Sansa for instance you can use the Sansa Media Converter to change (lower) the resolution of the images, or you can use other software to alter the images.

Photos not supported jpeg

You need to use the supplied Sansa Media Converter program to convert your photos (and videos) to a format the Sansa can handle. If you've misplaced the SMC, you can download it from
