This is not necesarily a big problem but the machine is asking that the drum position be turned on it's shaft. You can do this by accessing the drum unit - this is hard to explain as you have to take quite a lot off of the front to get to it. Once you've reached the drum area you will see that it is held in by a metal bracket that could be unscrewed, removed and re-seated in 4 possible ways, you need to turn it 1 step clockwise and then perform an adjustement in the service mode. You reall need a service manual to get it right my friend.
My Canon IR6800 tells me to 'Check Drum Phase'. At the moment all the prints draw vertical straight lines across the whole paper from top to bottom.
