Inside the house, my viewfinder is sharp and clear. However when I get outside in the bright Arizona sun, the image disappears. Also, the LCD viewfinder is of no use. Is there a correction for outside? Pictures in the review are sharp and clear with a good exposure but when I download them into Kodak Easyshare, they are dark. Some times the flash are black. I can lighten them up with good contrast and saturation. I don't know if that is the camera or computer.

In your camera setup, there is a reset option to reset the camera to its defaults, this will ckear up any problem with the settings.
Check your photo type and insure it sint set to night mode as this will cause problems in bright light enviornments. there should be a setting for out door use.. Post your camera make amd model if you have problems finding these settings and I'll walk you through it
