That sounds like you are on Pause or Delayed Start. Try Pressing and holding the button. You can also try disconnecting from the mains for 5 minutes.
When in doubt, read the manual :>D
START/PAUSE button with indicator light: starts or temporarily interrupts the wash cycles. N.B. To pause the wash cycle in progress, press this button; the corresponding indicator light will flash orange, while the indicator light for the current wash cycle phase will remain lit in a fixed manner. If the DOOR LOCKED indicator light is switched off, the door may be opened. To start the wash cycle from the point at which it was interrupted, press this button again.
and also
! If the START/PAUSE indicator light (orange) flashes rapidly at the same time as the function indicator light, this indicates a problem has occurred (see "Troubleshooting").
I see that you're having trouble with your washer pausing and now not washing. I suggest giving the appliance a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it or cutting the power off at the circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. After the 3-5 minutes, bring power back and try to start a cycle. If you are still having the pausing and no washing issue it might be something to do with the control board or possibly something else. I would suggest either calling the manufacturer or a local authorized technician. This way they can possibly troubleshoot with you and get this issue resolved.
HIGH TEMP WASH- HEATED DRY- HIGH TEMP WASH- HEATED DRY - CANCEL/OFF
the control will be reset...but more importantly how many times ina row does the light flash..it will indicate what error code its displaying??
example if it flashes 4 times then a pause then flashes 4 times again its displaying the error code#4 7 flashes then pause then 7 flashes its displaying the error code#7 ect ect
The 'Start' & 'Pause' LED's will flash together to indicate the
error code. You have to count the flashes within each 15 second period
to get that error code. The start and the pause LED's will flash
together at 1Hz (i.e 1 flash per second) within that 15 second time
frame, then will continue and show again within another 15secs and so
on.
1 Flash = Interlock fault
2 Flashes = Fill time-out
3 flashes = Drain time-out
4 flashes = Overfill fault presure pipe blocked
5 flashes = NTC error
6 flashes = faulty control board
7 flashes = Motor jammed
8 flashes = Tacho fault
9 flashes = Motor triac on module board
10 flashes = Prog Selector or wiring fault
your mach depending on model and cycle selected has a 3 to 5min "add a garment" feature.that means in the 1st 3-5mins of cycles when add a garment light is lit you may hit pause button once and the mach will stop and unlock door.after add a gament light is off,if u hit pause the cycle the mach will drain water and reset cycle..hope this helps
Washers - Resetting Electronic Controls on a Washer
If there is a pause in the washer cycle, the controls will lock up. The pause can occur because of a power failure or it was put in the test mode at the factory.
Also, if the washer was stopped before the cycle was complete or the consumer has pushed the stop/pause button to temporarily stop the cycle and the cycle is not reset. Over a period of 24 hours, the washer will pump out and spin, but will stay in the final spin.
To correct the situation, shut off the circuit breaker for 30 seconds or unplug the washer, then turn the timer knob around and back to any position other than final spin. Verify the water is turned on and restore power. This should resolve the issue.
