LG condenser dryer. Empty water light / warning buzzer keeps coming on even though the water reservoir is empty. Water reservoir at top right of machine - don't know if it is filling, instead water is pooling in bottom of machine (not the drum, if you remove the condenser unit bottom left, stick hand in all the way, then feel about 2 inches of water!) Tip machine and it comes out everywhere. Lots of condensation inside the drum as well - and quite a high temp when open the door. Had the back / side off, no water tubes loose or signs of water around electronics. Machine is 3.5yrs old - used daily during winter (3 kids) but rarely during summer. Help please!!
Did you repair this problem? If yes, how?
Thank you.
I solved the problem.
Solution in manual:
1) check the pump to see if its working
2) check sensor
What I did.
1) checked the pipes and especially the white L shaped connector through which the condensed water drops into the water container drawer. In my case it was blocked with debri. Unscrew top of dryer to access it.
Now all is good.
:-)
Great answer, dvg3! I did the same and it immediately solved the problem. I did have to use tweezers and reach down into the black rubber tubing to find my "lint clot."
How can I check if the pump is working?
