Resetting the progressive scan mode on an LG lh-d2645 home theatre system

Hi I activated the progessive scan function on my LG LH-D2645 home theatre system. Unfortunately I am running this on a tv so the picture no longer shows.

Please can you help me reset the system to it's original factory condition. I did this once before by using a code that came with the manual which I now no longer have.

    yeah i did the same thing by accident i dont have no more pictures how can i reset the setup to default PLZ

    My system is a LG lh-d6246 i have alos lost the manual and have no idea of getting the picture back.......HELP!!!

The above is correct but you need to have the dvd player on with no disc in so "no disk" is shown on the front display. then hold down the stop button for 5 secs to reset the display mode back.

I had the same problem but just pushed the stop button about 5 seconds and restart to the original video output

Would you like to make your LG LH-D6235 DVD Home Theater Region Free?

Follow these steps:

  1. Press the Pause button on your remote control
  2. Using your remote control enter the code 3, 1, 4, 1, 5 and 9 (If your unit does not enter the following mode which enables you to enter a region code, repeat steps 1 and 2. You may need to enter these codes in a shorter time span for them to work.)
  3. Press the 0 button on your remote control for Region free, 1 for Region 1 or 2 for Region 2.
  4. Press the Pause button on your remote control
  5. Power off your player and wait a few seconds
  6. Power on your player

Sound to mute
i would suggest turning off the system, disconneting it from the outlet and plugging it back in, the should reset the settings, please post with what you try to do.

Lh-d6245 dvd player in progressive scan mode no picture
put a dvd into player and let it play, than press stop, sysem show stop, than press stop again for 5 sec, and the LG screen will be back to tv screen.
