me too, my remote even stopped working. So I want to use a universal, but no luck even on self find option on remote. dwh ------ Although I've had mine for over a year now using it as a monitor/tv in my office and still works great manually. dwhme too, my remote even stopped working. Press menu and go to settings. select remote, code search and follow the on screen instructions it may take a few minutes to locate the correct code but it is in there.
the installer told us that the remote could not be programed to our ILO tv, he was wrong I made it happen without any trouble.

I had the same problem with my ILO tv, I found a code for Funai- manufactured by the same company. Unfortunatly I don't know the codes anymore, but I hope it helps.
Checked on line for any code there was that someone used for iLo t.v.'s, found two codes on your site that someone had used & used those & one of them worked. Thanks again!
I had the same problem trying to program my satellite remote to work with the ILO tv. I found that the emerson codes DO work. Yes local cable remotes will work as long as you have the code and the brand is getting more popular. The code that worked with both cable companys, Charter and DirecTv was 10171 I believe. You can find it under the Emerson codes. Hope this was helpful.

My Ilo dtv2794B was programmed on Direct TV remote as follows:
In Direct TV mode press 'menu' .
Go to parental ,faves setup
Go to system set up
Go to remote
Go to TV
Select brand (Orion)
Follow directions from this point.
