lets start with the easiest and work our way up.
1, If you haven't already, remove the replaced cartridges, MAKE SURE the doors that open when the cartridge are inserted are closed, use a cloth to cover the doors and shake the cartridges. Make sure there is no tape or seal on the openings. Re install those cartridges with the machine powered OFF, reinstall them with the power off, then power the machine back on forcing it to initialize and look at the cartridges fresh.
2. Clean the machine internally with a soft cloth, or if you have a very well filtered vacuum with hoses, vacuum the interior of the machine, carefully. Some ink may have spilled on some sensors.
Please, when you remove and shake the cartridges to be certain the small door is closed and you have them covered so you don;t make a mess.
3. If needed look for a dealer service provider in your area and place a call. Dealer service is much less expensive then Xerox direct.
Let me know if this helps.
You can also go to
www.xerox.com and click on support and drivers, in the search box, enter phaser 780, then click on support data base and enter replace toner and follow the steps there.
Hope this works. And Cheer up, take care.
Thank you kindly! I have taken all the toner cartridges out, wiped them clean and am trying to get the rest of it out. I have to keep rotating moving and dodging the revolving toner holder to get to the toner.. i can figure out how it got out of the toner cartridge..Any ideas? ( so i don;t do it again--there's alot of it!)
