It seems like fn key stuck because everything, including space bar, is working like I am pressing fn. key along with it. The letters that on the same keys with blue numbers on it, do not type. I tried changing the keypad drive, pressing repeatedly fn key, numlocking and unlocking, and all no use. What should I do? Anna

Try holding fn key and hitting scroll lock or num lock to see if that does it. sounds like you have somehow locked your fn key on.

On the Toughbook CF30 with Windows 7 the Fn key can lock on the number setting. To unlock press Ins and then the Fn key. Tes in Notepad to verify all is as it should be.

If your asus laptop have two (2) fn keys, try pressing it both for 2-3 seconds. This will lock or unlock your fn key. Btw, it works on me.

Letter

The letter "H" on your keyboard got stuck and it's like pressed down all the time. You can pop out the key then clean it. If the issue is resolved, you should not hear the beeping sound anymore when you boot up the unit. Or better yet, if your under warranty, contact Toshiba, 1-800-457-7777 and they'll be blad to repair your keyboard.

Hope this helps.

Ibm t30 keyboard stuck in odd mode

Hello,

You've activated Euro mode. This is toggled by pressing holding the Fn key plus an Fkey that has an icon in the same color as the lettering on the Fn key that looks like the Euro symbol. Press the Fn key plus the Euro key to toggle out of Euro mode.

Regards,
Worldvet
