have the ECM checked as you may have blown it by the short circuit.

May be a problem with the wire in side or on the plug that is blowing the house fuse get it checked by someone or pat tested

try this open the door and then plug it back in when the door is closed its got power so when open the power is really low if it trip after that it will be you main Bord and poss door switch but i will tell you its going to cost cheaper to buy a second hand machine if you have done what i have told you then get a call out but make sure the call out is cheap ok it could be a waste of time ok

I would get an electrician to check the machine as it appears to have an earth fault on the machine wiring , This type of fault will operate the RCD quicker than the fuse will operate. I am a qualified electrician by trade.

hi you need to take off the clip thats around the seal ..pull seal away....the switch is held in with two scews ************** TURN APPLIANCE OFF AT WALL PULL PLUG OUT ************** undo scews take interlock out and replace.hope this helps.01179512835

THE RCD SWITCH is concealed on the inner side of the hindges of the door or on the top innerside of the door. it is a simple push switch which has a mechanism of push to on/off
this switch has got stuck in off position.
change this switch or spray a drop of rust removal oil. it will start functioning

I believe the problem is in the fus(breaker). I would say that it is the thermal fuse in the machine but it usually goes out before the breaker does. The breaker has gotten weak over the years. You have a hi limit on the machine as well but I doubt this is it. Let me know how you do.

hi when your fuse blew it welded contacts inside door lock mech replace and all will be fine **** it could have been the door lock that blew fuse but check carbons whilst you have top of ALL THIS IS DONE WITH THE PLUG OUT DONT FORGET
