Hey friends. My mother's Maytag refrigerator (model: MSB2354AR) 's freezer side has been collecting ice at the bottom with a little water leakage making it's way under the unit. Here are some photos of the ice buildup:

Googling, I've seen some fixes for this kind of issue, but not for this particular model. So I'm hoping someone here is knowledgeable enough about this to help.
Before I visited, my mom had a service tech come who charged her 60 bucks just to say ''something'' was ''Leaking'', but no further details were offered to explain the $200 charge he told her it would cost to fix the issue:

I hate it when people try to take advantage of sweet people like my mom.
Anyways, input and help from any of you would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You in advance, and Best Wishes

Defrost drain system is plugged and not draining out the back and into the drain collector. There is normally an air trap in this drain line under the back and behind a fiber removable panel. Check this trap and make sure it is clear of any blockage. You will then have to defrost the freezer and clear out the ice. Don't forget to replace the back fiber panel.

Has this thing a separate frezer and cooler compartment.
Have tried to completely defrost and clean that thing.
At times like in airco's the pinch valve for the cooling process to effect (expansion) is stuck frozen, or very seldom broke.

You should to check the Whirlpool Gladiator Freezerator's door sealer to make sure all rubber or plastic seal very well to prevent air humidity come in to build up frost fast. Also, you have to defrost completely and wipe with cloth or paper towel to absorb all waters out and let it dry completely to prevent frost build up.

Hi, Remove the rear inside panel of the freezer and locate the drain hole under the evaporator coils.
Use a hair dryer and melt the ice. Make sure and get the ice out of the drain hole as well.
After the ice is removed, be sure and flush the drain hole with hot water. A baisting surenge works great for the flush.
I hope this helps you. If I can assist you further, please let me know.

Either the drain hose is plugged up with ice and not dripping into evaporator tray, or the defrost unit needs to be replaced.
