Battery is not charging

I have a ZD8350LA ,some days ago the battery stopped charging and the indicator led blinks every time the battery is in the device, my computer is only 10 months old, can it be a configuration problem on the motherboard? or the battery has broke down? My Li-ION battery stopped charging out of the blue. The AC adapter definitely works, because I can use the computer when the AC is plugged in, the battery doesn't seem hold a charge anymore at all. It used to work, and it didn't stop working gradually, just all of a sudden.

Let the battery go all the way dead. You may have to adjust the settings in your bios so that the laptop will stay on until the battery goes completely dead. Then charge the battery. Do this a few times if it does not fix the problem you do need a new battery.

My 7inch tagital tablet shut off and wont turn on I try charge but it still not coming up.its not even a month since I have it

what usually cause the problem of most tagital tablet not turning on
is when the battery is over charged.the maximum time to charge a battery is six hours when bought new.if you dont it will pose some difficulties later.
there are three options
1. get another battery
2. get a booster to boost the battery
3.you also use LED by pinning its cable to the battery, this will take some time.then wait until the light on the LED goes off.it normally takes 3 days before the LED light turns off.
if you have taken these steps the next thing to do is to put the battery back on your tablet and connect it to a power source i mean electric current and see if it will respond to charging.if it works, then you got your tablet back, but if not please get a new battery.thanks

I turn my tablet on then it switches it self off

Sounds like it does not have enough battery power to stay on. If you have not tried to charge it, you should try that first. If you have, it sounds like it is not getting charged or not holding a charge. Could be bad AC power source, bad charger, bad charger connection or bad battery. Take steps to confirm that each of these are good. If all of these are good, sometimes the tablet can become so discharged that it will not allow itself to charge. When they are in that state, sometimes you can trick them into charging again by repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting the charger as follows: With charger plugged in to AC power source, connect the charger to the tablet. Pay attention to the screen or LED or whatever indicator your tablet has to let you know it is charging. You may see it momentarily indicate charging, or maybe not at all. Then unplug the charger from the tablet then immediately plug it back in and pay attention for the charge indication again. You may have to do this a bunch of times (like 20) until you see the indication that it is charging. When you do get the indication, stop unplugging and re-plugging and let the tablet charge for 24 hours (to a full charge). This trick doesn't always work. Sometimes the battery or charging circuit or an internal connection is bad and no amount of unplugging/re-plugging will fix a hardware problem.

Why won't the tablet charge

Lots of variables here, but the most likely suspects are always cable and charger, but charging ports will also sometimes get twisted, bent, or detached from the circuit board. Do you get the charging light (usually a small LED next to the charging port)? If there is not an LED indicator, you can also - if the tablet is on - look at the battery indicator while plugging/unplugging, but give it a couple of seconds to register on screen while you try each option. If you get nothing that way, the cheap way to debug is to borrow a friend's matching cable and charger and see whether either solves the problem. Try all combinations, and be sure to make a firm, straight connection each time you plug in a cable. In my experience, cables are the worst offenders. Don't settle for cheap ones. Not worth the grief.

TC4400

How do you know the battery is good? does the multimeter really read more than the battery should give, according to what is printed on it?
A 3,7 volt battery, should give at least 3,8, wham not connected. A 7,2 at least 7,4. Because the printed voltage should be on the connector, when you are discharging the battery.

When your charger is blinking, it could indicate the battery is not well. The Ri can be to high or something else, is wrong, and that is ht the charger won't or can't charge.

Laptop hp compaq tc 4400 is not charging , during adapter connected to laptop and turning power/standby led ... it doesnt switches on, instead battery charging led blinks 4 times, and doesnt turns on, so...

Whenyou connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED lightup? If not then - The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's powersocket could be faulty. Check power adapter's DCplug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltageshould be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on thebottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that isprinted on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK thenconnect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/batterycharging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's powersocket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position thisLED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a drysolder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but itrequires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket andrepair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.

My kindle cannot power on

  • Make sure the Kindle's battery is charged. Connect to a PC using the supplied USB cable until the power LED changes colour from amber to green.
  • Slide and hold the power button until after the power LED blinks three times. If the screen now is blank, repeat the procedure
If the Kindle still does not come back to life, contact Kindle Support.
