THe water must be totally drained and it is not. So go back into the area that you used to open the door and look for the drain. If you use that manual drain have a wet vacuum cleaner ready there will be a flood. When you take that drain plug out there should be a filter attached and you will find that a sock or something is plugging it up and not letting it drain. There is a chance the pump motor is bad but usually it is plugged drain.
ND, I would suggest means no drain. If the machine is full of water, it wont let you open the door. Put the drain hose into a bucket to drain the water out and turn off the machine, after a few minutes, the door should unlock. Check the pump or the pump inlet hose for blockages.
The door does not open because there is water detected inside the machine. Water must be removed through the drain filter connected to drain pump.
Disconnect power. If front loader remove the trim panel at the base of the machine. Top loader have access at the bottom or at the back. Locate the drain filter access at one side. Remove drain filter cap. Collect water using containers (have them ready, a lot of water will flow out). Put back cap and trim and reapply power.
Emptying water from drain lines is usually enough to unlock the door. If that does not work, then the door is opened reaching back side of the door latch (from inside the washer's cabinet). Access is from top, after removing panel, or from bottom. Some front loader has an emergency unlock cord inside that can be reached undoing completely the drain filter. The procedure requires disassembling and should be done by a technician.
Check your washer plug to see if the connections are
tightly
screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.
Remove
the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the
washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose
there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained
by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and
remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and
water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something
shd be blocking your pump, check this out.
While the machine is on press "end of cycle" for 3 seconds, then wait
for 2 minutes to try the door. Try this again if it does not open, this
is the child lock program - to lock and unlock; it is the same
procedure.
sounds like your water pump has failed or blocked position your drain hose on the floor into a bucket or floor waste let water drain out you should be able to open door reposition drain hose in original position and try again if drain pump does not work check for blockage or replace faulty pump good luck
You can check the drain or the filter. You will have to pull it out of
the space it is now to access it. Items will get stuck in the drain
clogging it.
