Sounds like the high voltage block, part number 205064,this part is behind the speaker grill, there is a access panel to remove, part is between the left and middle tube, has red wires from the tubes and black ground wires on the left side, hope this helps.

Hello,
The "ticking" you hear is probably the solenoid trying to "connect"
The solenoid is the round thing that is the first thing the large red cable from the battery runs to. There are more wires connected to the solenoid..the TWO big ones carry the power from the battery and then jump it to the BIG cable that goes directly to the starter. You can CAREFULLY "jump" the two big connectors ON the solenoid with a screwdriver ( CAREFUL - SPARKS WILL FLY!). If the motor turns over you have a bad solenoid. Key does not have to be on, you just want the motor to turn over. NO open fuel sources!!SPARKS WILL FLY WHEN YOU JUMP.
Try this and repost, let me know.
hello . it sounds like a high volatge problem . the tripler and the or the fly back transform. is bad. and thats what is huming. sound that you hear. time to get a new set. Good luck
The fault you are describing is caused by a faulty fly back transformer. The fly back transformer provides the high voltage required to light up the picture tube/s on the set. Other than the fly back transformer there are a few components that supply the fly back with power that may have failed. Generally not overly expensive to fix
Here is what I found on my set: The capacitor near the H out was loose of one of its ends, resoldered and it comeback to a normal function. I hope it helps.
sir/maam i think thers a problem with its fly back,,,,,or its power supply going to the picture tube????kindly check it out thanksss and hope too help you!!
