i am in the av industry and as far as i can tell guys if dealers have the codes to unlock these players (as i have one myself) they're not sharing as they can sell the playwers once unlocked at twice the money.....
Unfortunately we'll have to wait it seems.
On a brighter note Panasonic & Poineer are making a top end Bluray player which are region free for less than £450.00! but sadly not until the autumn will the swines allow us brits a peek...
