I have a LTF2490ES0 Frigidaire Front load Washer that, has just stopped working, it got to spin cycle and quit. I have run Diag and i get an "E5E error" My warranty has since expired and i Called Sears and they want a $74.95 "diag fee" which is fine but I am trying to get a close estimate on what parts will cost. So might anyone know how much the common parts to fix this problem might be? so I can get an Idea prior to the Tech visit. thanks ahead of time for your help.

SOURCE: Frigidaire front load washer won't drain or spin
This often is a drain hose that is too low or a drain hose that has been pushed too far down inside the stand pipe....the water is actually siphoning out of the washer. Do not "seal" the drain hose to the house plumbing pipe, this will also allow the water to be siphoned out.

It doesn't spin
If your washer won't spin, check these:
It doesn't pump or spin
It pumps, but doesn't spin
It spins only with the lid closed
It doesn't pump or spin
If it doesn't pump water out or spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows:
It pumps, but doesn't spin
If your washer pumps out the water but doesn't spin, check these:
It spins only with the lid closed
For safety, washing machines are made so that they spin only with the lid closed. The lid switch prevents the spinning action when the lid is up.

Hi. this is a failed timer device. simply replacing the timer control module will eliminate these issues you are having.

clogged filter will cause this error code. I have the same washer and the filter located inside the rubber boot attached to the pump was full of junk. there was enough room for water to get thru but not enough for full volume. clean it out and it should work. note : its a pain to get the boot back on so be ready and take it slow. this worked for me.
