Maytag Front Load Wash Machine not draining

Neptune Series Model# MAH3000AWW

The washing machine is not draining properly. Therefore, the clothes are soaked at the end of the cycle and there is some stagnant water in the bottom of the machine. Experimented on different cycles and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

    Thanks, but leaves the HOW? Where is this, what equipment would you need and is this heading down a path a layman can reasonably tackle?

    I am having the exact problem. Th ewarranty is of course up, te washer is just over 5 years old!

    Yes, we have the same exact problem.  The washer is not draining and we can't finish a load of clothes.  Nothing is clogged and the plumbing is fine, it's clearly something wrong with the machine.  I would appreciate any help!!  Actually, I would appreciate a new (non-Maytag) washing machine.

    My matag neptune will not spin to drain. The pulmbing is fine, nothing is clogged all the other cycles work the clothes are soaked at the end of the cycle. when on the spin cycle it just makes noise and pumps out very little water.

The washer is not draining properly
Hello there :
This is normally caused from a drainage hose that is clogging or is kinked or the
extraction pump itself is clogged up or it is just starting to wear out
alos the lines going to the pump may be getting clogged or is clogging so i would first start by checking out all of the lines that go from the drain point of the washer and check them really good than if you feel like you have the capability to dig in deeper open the rear panel of the machine and you will find the drain pump if you remove the pump you will be able to checkk out all of the hoses that lead to it and check out the pump really good too make sure every thing is cleaned outr really good and then reassemble the machine and retry and if still nothing then i would have to say that the pump is failing you ok

MACHINE WILL NOT DRAIN COMPLETELY THEREFORE IT SMELLS
No washing machine drains completely , there is always residual water in the hoses and heater sump

If the machine smells do a couple of hot washes with no clothes in but add a good dose of soda crystals dissolved in hot water.

Pour this mix into the drum before you start the wash

Try going back to old fashioned soap powders for a few washes , these contain some bleach and soda which kill of the fats left inside your machine by the normal 40 & 60 degree washes
