find a good transmission garage, but before that check atf level, cable going to shifter etc, if no fault found prepare for the worse $$$$, sorry man your not the only one mine gave at 70000miles, id rather have it fixed by a good tranny shop than buy a used or new tranny. it will be replaced with modefied parts, makers study this problems and modify the parts make them better. compare price of repair and having a new one, remember you still have to pay labor replacing your tranny, tranny shops usually give 5 years warranty. remanufactured tranny i would suggest but first compare price with new.
The large electronic store chain Best Buy owns the Dynex Product Company. Having dealt with other Dynex products in the past, you will probably end up having to throw it away and buy a replacement.
okay lets ask why it broke did it get jammed?was it worn?is your front crankset or rear gearset loose with play in it?does the chain make a clicking while pedalling hard? first and last require a replacement chain because it broke for a reason.if your drive gears are loose then you will have to adjust/repair them also checking adjustment on the derailuers should be checked. hope this helps

you need a new coaster in the back rim. theres little gears inside that grab when you pedal forward and not backward. you stripped/broke the gears inside. take the back wheel off and if the sproket/cog spins both ways then you need to have it replaced.
Yes you can just replace the chain, I would not recommend it. Even if it is not obvious, the gears are also worn and have undergone all the stresses that stretched the chain, they may be ready to go soon, why take the chance, the engine has to be torn down to the same point to replace the chain as to replace the gears. I would replace all with a timing gear/chain set and install all new gaskets as it went back together. A timing gear failure could cost you a couple valves and/or pistons when it fails (piston on its way up with a valve stopped at full open when the gear broke).
