No sound through HDMI cable for Loewe Concept L26 26 - only picture. Tried 2 Virgin HD boxes - must be the tv... Bummer... so much for HD ready... No trying to use Digital audio cable - need to buy Digital to Analog converter... Not sure it will work though - anyone has experience with this configuration?

Check ur DVD player and read ur instructional manual find out if ur DVD player have a HDMI port hub?Tries websites like Amazon.com,Ebay.com to buy a HDMI cable.That the esiest way to hookup a DVD player to a LCD or a Plama tvs.Just one HDMI cable to the DVD player HDMI hub and the other side of the HDMI cable to the tv HDMI hub.

Can you confirm that you get no sound and picture? Apparently, these units, along with Panasonic & Hitachi units which are similar in design and use the ALiS panel from Hitachi/Fujitsu have a weakness in power supply. If yours has this problem, you should at least get sound.
My Spheros started acting up (no picture) after a move as well. If yours has the same problem as mine, you could opt to replace the power supply by a Loewe rep and pay $1500. I just use a hair dryer to get the picture going. Let me know if you need the details.
