Hi, there is no reset switch. The original fan was not the culprit. The culprit will be the microcomputer(PCB). This board routes the start signal, and power to the fans and compressor unit. The initial intervals are set be the cold control device inside the refrigerator, and freezer. The Microcomputer has several relays mounted on the board. One of the fan relays have failed. This will require you to replace the entire Microcomputer. This will correct the issue. The part number for the replacement computer will be 4389211

It is mounted on the compressor platform, under the control board housing cover.

Yes, I agree with Micheal. The control board is most likely the cause. If you have a hard time finding it new, you can have it rebuilt at www.fixyourboard.com

Commercial fan on evaporator cuts off after starting

There is an overheat klixon on the evaporator that stops the fan running until the coil gets below -11c This can take some time after startup. if the freezer runs more than an hour before the fan starting, check the klixon isn't faulty, and you have power to the fan. Also check the condenser grille is nice and clean as it will slow down the freezing process.

Hi any one there

Hi!

The cooling fan kiks in when the needle almost hit half, if A/C is on, both cooling fans are on and temp. gauge should be about 1/3. If it goes over, replace thermostat. if still overheats, replace water pump and flush entire cooling system. Another important thing to check is the A/C evaporator in front of radiator, if it gets plugged or dirty, the radiator will no work properly.

Don't forget to rate this answer, Good Luck!!

Side by side samsung will run great for a couple of months, then stop cooling. Sometimes unplugging/resetting helps, others it doesn't. Sometimes the digital temp is right, other times it doesn't match...

I believe you have a condenser fan going bad or some of the compressor start components going bad. I am always courious why local repair goes straight for the motherboard. If they are not a Authorized Maytag Service Center they should not be working on your refrigerator. When a fan goes bad on a refrigerator they don't always stop. They run for a while and stop causing the compressor to overheat. It appears also the Service Technician did not even run the self diagnostics on you model. Could you send me your model number? The refrigerator is too new to give up on. I hate to say this but I believe the service tech is what needs to be replaced. The temperature swing could be a defective thermistor. The thermistor is about the same as a thermostat or a thermometer and they are placed in different locations inside freezer and fresh food section. They can be checked with self diagnostics. I will try to help you, Sea Breeze

Evap fan stops running/low cooling, Unplug Frig Evap fan runs

Is there anything obstructing the fan area, ice build up ? It is normal for your freezer to get warm if evap fan is not working, it is essential for it to work :) A defrost cycle should kick on a timer or as needed (adaptive) and there should not be excessive frost buildup that it blocks your evap fan. I would have suggested you unplug your refrigerator for about 10 minutes and see if that resets your control board - if not, then you will need service - either replacing motor assembly or a faulty control board.

Uline combo unit. Condensor fan will not run and

You just answered your question. If no fan is running then the compressor will overheat and the compressor goes off on overload. Do you have the evaporator fan running? If yes then replace the condensor fan. Both fans will run at the same time. If the evap fan is not running then the unit must be in defrost. Since its a hotgas defrost the compressor will run.
Hope this helps

Cooling Fans

Hello dc8jimmy...did you check the voltage to the fans? The Aztek is a known overheater...Run a diagnostic scan to see if you have a cooling fan relay circuit open short. Will be easier to correct the problem when you know where to look. I think Haynes has a publication on the Aztek that covers the 01-05 year models.
Good luck...i hope this helps.

Overheating

Here are the cooling system diagnostic steps...First does the cooling fan kick on (with engine hot)? If not, check the fuse, if good then check the thermoswitch in the radiator (it's about an inch and a half in diameter located on the lower part of the radiator with two wires ) by disconnecting the wires and touching them together (again, with engine hot...at least 190 degrees) if the fan comes on, you have a bad switch. If not connect a 10 gauge jumper wire from the battery to the fan itself (there are three terminals,,, one high, one low and ground). With power direct from the battery (and a ground wire, if necessary) fan should run... if not replace the fan assembly... if it does run then you have a bad cooling fan relay. If the cooling fan system is working normally and you still are overheating, the next thing to check is for coolant flow. let the engine cool and remove the reservoir cap and start it and let it run to operating temp. The upper hose should warm up and you should see a thin stream of coolant entering the reservoir... if not let it cool again, raise the vehicle, place a drain pan beneath the engine and remove the T-stat from the housing and button it back up. run again to operating temp... if you now have flow, and it doesn't overheat it was the 'stat. If it still overheats look at the water pump... is it noisy while running? is it weeping coolant? if so replace the pump. if not it's time to suspect a radiator blockage... try backflushing, if it seems to take alot of pressure and very little come out the other outlet the radiator is at least partially clogged and should be rebuilt or replaced... Hope this helps...;-)
