No it's getting worse and starting to give me a headache!
I have had people tell me it could be a color wheel here is one reply I got from a tech guy:
    Greetings.

    Thank you for contacting AeonTronics.

We do apologize for the late reply into your request, but our techs were
finally able to get an idea of what could be the problem of your DLP.

It seems that your color-wheel needs to be replaced. Usually the symptoms
behind the color wheel includes a grinding noise from the rear of the DLP,
but in this case it could be starting to be on its way out.

Another solution could be your DMD chip which is located on the DMD board.

It is common for those two parts to go bad eventually. We currently don't
have any parts in stock for your model, but we can locate them through our
certified vendors. If you would like to get a quote, please let us know.

Please be advised, Aeontronics won't be held responsible for any
advice/suggestion/repair solutions given. It is completely up to the client
to take our advice and utilize it on their own expense.

I have surroundsound. I have dish network with hd dvr. I have a sony bravia hd tv. I have a dvd player, and cd player. I have a magnavox dvd recorder. I want to record from my dvr to my dvd recorder. ...

To get the functionality you're looking for you'll need to to take the cable running from your DVR output and connect it to the input on your DVD recorder. Next you want to connect a cable from your DVD recorder output and connect it to your TV. If this is an HD set up you want to use HD Cables for all of the connections.

Unhooked all lines in back of tv cant remember to rehook up have2

granmabj,

There are common connections to each receiver but there are unique connections also depending on the receiver. Solo receivers have a coax cable coming from the Dish outside connected to Satellite In. Duo receivers and DVR HD receivers have the coax cable that comes from the dish outside that connects to Satellite 1 and Satellite 2 using a splitter. There is also a cable (coax, RCA (yellow, white, red) or component (green, blue, red - video, white, red - audio) or an HDMI if HD) connected from the receiver to the TV 1. For a duo receiver TV 2 may be backfed on the cable coming from the dish outside using diplexers. This may sound confusing but you can call 1-800-333-3474 for assistance.

I lose my audio often for non-hd channels with dish 622 dvr

The problem could lie in youir HDMI cable, this is a common issue. if you swap HDMI cables and still have the same problem then bypass your A/v rec and connect your 622 direct to your tv and see if the problem persists, it it does, then your DVR needs to be replaced, you can call dish for addition troubleshooting if it is in fact your DVR.

I need to connect my Dish Network 625 DVR to a JVC RX-709VTN surround sound receiver, along with my DVD and VCR. Nobody can help me at Dish Network. Seems they aren't trained to help outside of the DVR. I...

Providing you have enough input ports on the surround run you a red and white audio RCA jack from the receiver out port for TV1 and connect to the same colored ports on the satellite in ports on the surround. If you do not have enough ports then you may have to use the in ports on the DVD etc to run the TV through to utilize the surround system. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Hello , I just purchased a 26" Toshiba LCD/HD flat screen TV today. The floor model had the nicest picture at Circut City of the other 26" TVs - but they were hooked up to receive HDTV. When I got it home,...

Yes, the newer flat panel TV's look great with HDTV but amplify the substandard analog TV signals.

I would compare the non HD to VCR quality. If that is what you are seeing then this is normal with non HD broadcasts (typically the channels 1-100).

Hope this helps, please rate my solution.

Dish Network VIP612 DVR - unwanted "Info" screen

The problem has nothing to do with the television. To fix it, simply change the remote address. The directions for this are in the Dish manual, or you can check it out on the website here: http://tech.dishnetwork.com/departmental_content/TechPortal/content/tech/receiver/622.shtml

Hope this helps.

Recording to DVD on samsung recorder from dish network dvr

Connect the "yellow, white , red) jacks from the Satellite to the same colored inputs on the DVD. If you use "Input 1", for instance, set the dvd to record on Input 1. Set Satellite to desired channel. Good to go.
