No water enters Frigidaire GLTF2940FS1 Washing Machine when run

The power in our house went out, and now that its back on the our Frigidaire Gallery Series Washing Machine (GLTF2940FS1) will not let the water come in, though it does turn on and start running.
This has happened before, and a repairman simply pushed a few buttons (in a sequence, I believe) and it started working. Can anybody help??

Gltf2940fs1 machine stopped with 1 minute left in the cycle, could it be the door latch or motor control board

I appreciate your post, friend!

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire washer, GLTF2940FS1, stopped with 1 minute left in your cycle. This could be a potential issue with your door latch, control board, or a miscommunication within your washer. I would recommend a reset on your washer and you can do that by unplugging the power cord for at least ten minutes. If that does help correct your issue you may need to consult with a technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This may help you avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

The washing machine will ot fill with water

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand your Frigidaire Gallery washer, model# GLWS1339EC, will not fill with water. First, make sure that the water supply is adequate in area where your washer is located. Secondly, make sure the water supply faucets are completely open. Thirdly, make sure water is not being used elsewhere in the house. The water pressure must be at least 30PSI. Try to avoid running water elsewhere, while the washer is filling. Lastly, make sure the water inlet hoses are not kinked. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Frigidaire washer GLTF2940FS1 Error code E20. Apparently a clog somewhere. Can I get it from the front? How? Or do I have to get a strong person to remove it from the closet? How do I unclog?

Hi,
  • Get the washer laying on it's side and using the access hole on the bottom carefully remove the screw clamp holding the large hole of the rubber housing to the tub drain (it will be obvious all other clips are green compression clips).

  • Carefully work the strainer out of this flexible rubber drain housing through the large hole.Clean it out and replace you will be good to go. Also remove all the hoses and check for a buildup of gunk. Hope this will fix your problem.

Thank you !!

Need directions to remove broken drum vane in a Frigidaire Gallery Front loader washer (GLTF2940FS1).

Open the top of the machine (look behind the top for several screws to remove) and slide it back to release from the cabinet. This should give you access to the screws that hold the vane in place. Hope this helps!

Water will not enter my Frigidaire front loader washer

More than likely, there is a part of the connection wich you can unscrew and inside you should find a wire screen type filter there. Assuming you're talking about a used washer, it probably just needs cleaning, wich you can do with a toothbrush or something like that once a month or so.

Hot water not going into washing machine

hi there,
try the following, it may help:

Some washing machines allow hot water to enter only during certain cycles. Others intermittently
allow hot and cold to enter, to temper the temperature of the water. Consult your owner's manual
if you are unsure about whether the machine is acting abnormally.

If you're sure the machine isn't working the way it used to--or should--try these tests:

* Is the hot water turned on? If not, turn it on.

* Is the washer getting cold water but no hot water? If so, check to see if the control panel
settings are correct.
