I don't know if this applies to plasma TVs, but I also lost all red color on my Panasonic. Turned out to be just loose cables between the TV and cable box. Once firmly reseated, the red color came back.

Images on screen are very red. Tried adjusting everything in the menu but still every thing is like glowing red.

Color balance is labeled "Tint"
Color amount is labeled "Color"

Both are in the "picture" adjustments menu.

Either your tint is swung too far to red, or the color setting is wide open making normally pink faces look sunburned...likely it's a combination of the two; Too much red, and a bit too much color.

Going back to the "default factory setting" in "setup" will also drop all settings to center.

My Tv has red light (color) out of focus..I've tried tuning the lance but it's not the problem in the lance..it's something else..don't know what..do you?

Your TV has three picture tubes which are aligned to properly converge the projected light beams on the screen. Each picture tube projects a single color of Blue Green or Red. During production your TV was carefully adjusted to properly align these colors. As a feature you have the ability to adjust these colors.thats called convergence. If you don't have a manual to show you how to adjust you can find one here http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/support.html

TV picture is red.

Normal color picture is composed with 3 colors R-G-B (Red-Green-Blue). Picture turns Red means: Missing Green and Blue colors (many reasons: bad contacts, projector tubes dead, and other...). Try to give some "tabs" to diagnose ... I don't know what is the type of your Projection TV, how long you owned it, to have more idea.

Color adjust

Greetings!

Adjusting the picture tubes is a scary proposition, but since you have already done it...
The easiest way to balance the gray scale is to turn the color all the way down on the set. The next part is easier with two people if the screen controls are on the back of the set. This is the part you saw that has six small knobs on it. There are control for the focus of the red, gree and blue and for the screen level of the red, green and blue. You will want to adjust the screen controls in an effort to get the picture black and white (this is why you turn the color down), hence the term "gray scale". Just make slight adjustments, take your and be patient. It will take some time, but you will get your picture balanced back out in time.

Hope this helps!
