I was printing an all black job 200 copies when the machine stopped and gave me an error message SC670 power down and restart. Can you tell me what this code is for.
Its an over load of information by the file.
here is the actual code: SC670 mistake Engine Response
Its always a good idea to ask for a fix along with a question about an error code...
so whats going on is no response from the BCU at power on. Which means when the main power is turned on or the machine
starts warming up from energy-saving mode, the controller does not receive a command signal from the BCU. So that could mean a
• Loose connection
• Defective controller
• Defective BCU
you can try these things:
1. Turn the main switch off and on.
2. Check the connection between the
BCU and controller.
3. Replace the controller.
4. Replace the BCU.
After replacing the BCU or controller, remove the NVRAM on the old board and put it on the new one.
If you have not worked on these units before you may need the help of a shop.
we changed NVRAM and still it's come same code

Turn off the machine cutting main power. remove the power cable, remove the main board the one with the HHD and put it back. connect the power cables back again and turn on the machine. that will fix this problem...
I recently replaced the BCU board with one I had removed from another machine that we had to get rid of an error message SC670, which it did. The machine now boots up normally but when I try to print it the sheet jams just as it is entering the fuser. It seems that the fuser is not turning to accept the sheet, it is warming up but does not take the sheet in. Please give me your thoughts on this.
