Hi and welcome to FixYa,
Initially, have you tried the RESET button on the front panel? This may have been proposed by another member of the site who responded ahead but as I am unable to view their solutions, I have to post it.
Offhand, should the above reset be not corrective, options then are:
If a DIY is being considered, preliminary check would be on the different voltages of the power supply (PS) board and the conditions of the power/filter capacitors. The schematic diagram of the PS board maybe referenced below.
In some instances, mechanical issues could also trigger the auto-shutdown such as the loading motor, gear, belt.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa. Merry Christmas.
Turn it off for a few minutes, then back on.
Its the clear problem in the power supply board of the unit.
but there is a reset method first try that and check if it helps.
turn the unit ON. then directly remove the main power cord of the unit from the electric outlet.wait for ten minutes then reconnect the power wire to the electric outlet and check out by turning the unit ON.
also if there is any other electric outlet try connecting the wire to that outlet. if the problem is same as before with no difference then its the power supply board problem in the unit.
the capacitors and ic on the circuit board are getting short in between so the circuit is not getting completed and cutting in between so the power led comes but nothing comes up.in this case the power supply circuit board needs to be checked with a multimeter.the faulty and burned out component part should be detected and then should be replaced with the help of soldering iron.to make it proper.to avoid further damage i suggest you that do not on the unit again and again as it will short some more tiny components and the repairing cost will increase as per that.at present its the normal circuit short problem in the unit get it repaired before using the unit again.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya

I tried this, however there is no change. 2 seconds after I turn Power ON the unit returns to stand by.
If this is the power unit issue, I'd like to know which components are affected.
Thank you very much for this substantial support.
Hope to find the failed component with the circuit diagram.
