My Sony Bravia Kdl40v300 will not turn on When I

My Sony Bravia Kdl40v3000 will not turn on When I try to turn it on, the green light comes on, then the red standby light comes on and blinks 13 times straight, pauses, and blinks 13 times. This is continual. I have unplugged the power for a while, and plugged it back in. It still will not work.

Sorry. Hope you still have a waranty. This is not an uncommon problem with the sony's. 99% chance that the panel went out. Could also be a balance board issue, but usually not. Call Sony for an authorized repair center

KDL40v3000 issues on turn on.

Hi,

There is a power fault with one of the PCB's inside, contact Sony if you are still in warranty, if not contact a Sony service center as it will need an engineer to open it up to repair it.

Half the screen is black
I think its either the X-sus or Y-Sus Boards which control the display. These are 2 boards with heatsinks on them, lots of capacitors and are at either edge of the screen.
