They're very easy to open. You can pull the outer pads off by squeezing them at the bottom edge.
Inside, you can prize the speaker plate off the white plastic body with your fingers, and access the connectors if you need to.
The headphones all just clip back together.
Mine just stopped working in the right ear. I fixed them in about five minutes.

THANKYOU SO MUCH! just fixed my 11 year old cans with the help of this page! :D

pry the white cap from the black from the narrow bottom end (end where the cable attaches) and it pops off.

I'd lost my left ear (again!) turns out it's just a loose connector. fixed in 5 mins

Yea, when u said connector i didnt quite understand, but figured it out. The cable that gues into the "loudspeaker" splits out in two cables. At the end of theese cables they each have a "leg" like a wall-plug has two legs. Just push the legs down towards the speakers carefully, and fixed.

My bet would be to remove the pads and foam and you will probably find access screws. If the foam doesn't want to come off force it! You can allways glue it back on afterwards.

Iphone 4 does not pair sennheiser vmx 100

To Pair the Sennheiser VMX 100 headset with your iPhone or other cell phone:
At the same time as you open the mic, you also need to push down on the bottom/volume-down button on the side of the earpiece and hold this down (at the same time as opening the mic) until the light flashes red and blue alternating. (Just to clarify, it is the button that has an arrow pointing toward the Sennheiser logo). If asked for a code, enter "0000" (four zeros).
This video shows the bluetooth earpiece connecting to an iPhone 4S running iOS 5.0 (not jailbroken). This is the standard way to pair these devices, but as a disclaimer:
If anything should happen to your phone or your Bluetooth earpiece, it is not my fault.

Sennheiser MM100 bluetooth not working

Yes I had the same problem. Under some circumstances the MM100 freezes (didn't figure out when just yet). It's a software issue inside. Solution: open left speaker (the side with the charge connector and hence the battery). Discharge the battery (or just short circuit for half a second) and it works again. Sennheiser should built a reset button on these things.

How to open a vintage sennheiser 421hl

Try contacting them here:http://www.sennheiser.com/sennheiser/home_en.nsf/root/service_contact-consumer Have a look at the bottom end of the microphone where the cable connects. What are the four holes for? I don't have one to look at but I do remember working on one about 20 years ago. Also I seem to remember that the side rails slid back. I hope this helps.

Need to fix loose wire inside 421 sennheiser how do you open it up?

Well, it looks like an SKM 100/g2 casing so if that is true, then unscrew the bottom part till you have access to the batteries and there are three star screws you'll need to take out right between the battery compartment and the bottom with the LCD screen. The bottom cover slides down and off. If you need the cartridge out then you unscrew the top of the mic where the actual pickup is and pull the core out through the top. That should be close, but might vary a little bit.

On/off button fell off Sennheiser wireless mic

This is quite common with G2's, and really annoying!
If you are lucky, 50% of the time the red button is pushed inside the mic.
You need to remove the bottom section:
- open the battery compartment
- there should be 3 star-bit screws around the outside (remove)
- pull the bottom of the mic off

If the red button is not inside, they are available as a spare part from Sennheiser dealers.

Be carefull when putting the mic back together, it needs to line up correctly with the internal guides, forcing the base back on could damage the ribbon cable. when the line-up is correct it slides on very easily.

Best of luck.

Sennheiser MM 50 iPhone Mic & Button does not work

I had just the same problem and if you're lucky, the solution is very simple: due to the open headset-plug of the iPhone I had a lot of dust inside. Just try (carefully!) to get the dirt out of the jack with a pair of tweezers or a strong vacuum cleaner. In my case it solved the problem. Good luck!
