It has all the features and built in mic,but sorry it has no built in web cam.You can go online(internet) and google it and it will direct you to many sites with the review of your new laptop. But my suggestion is go directly to the suggested compaq web site and there you will find the technical specs of you laptop.
goto control panel...goto search function line.. type in web cam... follow instructions or Goto HP web site, they will walk you through it or do it by remote control
You can get new drivers for the webcam at www.HP.com. The best idea is to just go to where you bought it and tell them what happened. Manufacturers warranties last for a long time
ok ..I dont know exactly the problem that you have ...but I am link-ing you to the site where you will find all drivers for your model ... so ..if you are running windows vista ....just go to control panel and uninstall the driver from remove programs .... then you either install the new driver ...and after that run the wizard from add new hardware ...or it will prompt you for a driver after you uninstall the old one ...I dont know if its a build in or not web cam ...anyway the procedure is the same ...you will be also be prompt for restart pav dv6000 drivers
look for the drivers on the laptops website if they arent already installed. then you can try a webcam program or yahoo messenger to see if it works if it didnt come with any programs for it.
