Everytime i turn on my computer it ask me for a password I enter the right password and it tells me that is incorrect. I continuosly enter it and it tell me is incorrect. i try to do a reset password but it tell me i need a disk or usb . can you help me

2.Enter an incorrect password or PIN (at least characters in length) five times.
3.Tap Reset to reset your device to factory defaults.

a few specifics may help you with the right answer, like which password log in for computer or account? what computer what operating system? computers are getting way too advanced to just ask a simple question without details.. thanks

You do not say what type of password was set and if you have forgotten it or just want to reset from a known password..
If you just want to change your gmail login password
- Go to google.com/accounts on the tablet browser
- Sign in
- "Change Password"
- Go back to the Home Screen on the tablet
- Open the GMail app, clicked on Menu, then Refresh -- you will get a sync error
- Wait for a notification to re-enter your password (a triangle with an exclamation point in the tablet notificaiton bar and/or something in the gmail screen)
- Enter the new password

This simple solution sometimes works:
Turn it off.
Turn back on.
When you get the warning triangle in the notification bar, open the notification.
You will then get a login screen.
Input your new password.

Pattern Lock- Incorrectly enter pattern 5 times (4 or more points each time) . Pop up message will appear Click Next and you will be prompted for goole a/c details or security for pattern lock.
tap forgotten pattern and on next screen enter goole account details. Then next screen allows you to choose a new screen lock option.

The only other solution is a hard reset which is only as a last resort. You need to access Androids Recovery mode. Check your manual. Most devices it is power off then power up holding volume + and power buttons.
Once in this mode use power down button to highlight "wipedata/factory reset option, then use power button to select it.
Vol - button to to scroll and select yes delete all user data option with power button. When device reset select option to reboot now and the device will turn on unlocked but you will have lost your personal data.

Face unlock - you were asked to provide a pattern or PIN backup when you set it. Just bypass and enter PIN or pattern.

Be sure that you go into settings and see if the password is there. Usually it can grow feet and walk away and then you will be asked to enter it again. See if that helps.

You will need to do a factory reset:

1. Enter a four digit pin at least five times. Each time you enter the wrong password, it will say, "Please try again".
2. On the fifth incorrect attempt it will ask if you want to Reset.
3. Select Reset and your Kindle will go through the process and you will be able to access your Kindle again.

Did your son reset the tablet password, or your google account password? if it was the google account password then if you go to the GMail website you can reset your password there. Its saying its incorrect because the information which is being entered is wrong

On XP you can try this:
Boot computer and press Ctrl+Alt+Delete twice when you See Windows welcome screen / login screen. It'll show classic login box. Now type "Administrator" (without quotes) in username field and leave password field blank, press Enter and you should be able to login Windows.
Now you can reset your account password from "Control Panel -> User Accounts".

On Win 7 or Vista:
Ctrl+Alt+Delete won't work, you have to use some windows password reset tool. I recommend Windows Password Reset.

It sounds like you closed the lid, which put the computer into "Standby mode" (which can be seen by the flashing green lightning bolt light on the front) . Whenever you turn your computer on from standby mode, it locks the computer so that an unauthorized person can't open your computer and run your programs without permission. To log in, you can just type the password you normally type when you log in to the computer. If you don't have a password, try just hitting enter instead of typing a password. (You may need to hit Ctrl + Alt + Delete before you can enter your password, just follow the instructions on your screen)
