Motorola bluetooth H500

My bluetooth was working fine just a few days ago. now, it doesn't work. i have tried everything. deleted the profile, several times to start over, and nothing. i thought maybe it was on mute, but it's not. i even tried a different bluetooth, and still, there is nothing. it says it's paired, but on my phone, when i make a call, it doesn't say "connected to bluetooth" like it usually does.. help please!

I have a new droid by motorola and an old h500 bluetooth headset. It still pairs beautifully with my old blackberry, but won't pair with the droid. HMMM? Any tricks? What am i doing wrong?

You need to put your H500 into "pairing mode" by pressing the call button until the light turns steady blue, instead of blinking. Your droid will then see it when you are in the Bluetooth Settings screen under Networks & Wireless. I just did this myself last night and it worked fine. Be forewarned, however, that you cannot voice-dial with your bluetooth - only answer calls. There are several forums out there that are bashing Motorola & Google for not having this basic functionality.

I am attempting to pair a motorola H500 bluetooth headset to my samsung phone it is asking for a numeric pin. what do you do?

Pairing the headset with a phone is a simple task: just hold the multi-function button for an extra few seconds when turning the H500 on, and the blue LED call indicator will turn on. This means that the headset is ready to be paired, and can be discovered with any phone, PDA, or computer that supports the headset or hands free Bluetooth profiles. As is the case for most headsets on the market, the PIN code for the H500 is "0000".

Problems pairing up a Nokia 6301 with my Motorola H500

Try power cycling the phone. Turn the Nokia off, wait 10 seconds, then turn back on and try again. It really does help sometimes. Let us know if this doesn't help.

I have a problem with my bluetooth headset h500 pairing it?

The Blackberry Pearl was designed to work with 2.0 model bluetooth handsfree headsets. Whereas the Motorola H500 is compatible with 1.1 - 1.2 bluetooth apps only. I'm guessing you will have to dish out the cash on this one, sorry!

Phone "finds" unknown device.

After I posted my problem, I tried one last thing, I "rebooted" my phone; turned it off then back on.
After I did that everything worked fine.

Motorola h500

Delete it from your Razr, turn off the bluetooth and recharge it to full. Try pairing it again. Make sure you enter the passkey correctly. Check the manual for the bluetooth if you dont know what it is. It is usually 0000.
