Flash Stopped Working- Lumix DMC-FZ8

My flash quit working after 2 years. With any mode, if you look closely, there's only a slight ''glow'' of the flash when the shutter is released.

Camera flash will not work. Is there a fuse or can the bulb be replaced?
Check the settings... some specific settings like multi burst and video mode will not allow you to shoot with flash... Also try resetting the Camera.

Hi my 2 year old Lumix TX 10, the flash has stopped working, every thing else is ok..... can it be repaired.
Ofcourse it can be repaired. All you need to do is check the flash bulb. Most probably the bulb is fused or there might be an internal wiring problem. Get it repaired in some customer care.

Flash is deactivated in motion picture mode, scenery, night scenery, sunset, highsens, starry sky, fireworks or aerial photo in scene mode.

Flash dont work
in the menu there is an option called conversion. this needs to be off for the flash to work. I had the same problem and this fixed it. good luck.

Problem with Flash in FZ8
In your menu's look for the entry named "conversion" make sure that it is "off" it seems when this mode is on, flash is forced off.
