My bluetooth headset Nokia BH-600 is not recognised by any Blutooth device. Any help?

You just have to press your blutooth on/off button a bit longer for 15 to 20 sec, when the LED blinking stops (noted that the LED should be turn ON but not blinking), try to search the device again with your phone. By that time your blutooth headset should be recognized by your phone, then select and enter the code 0000.
I too have the same problem. My phone is a Nokia E61i and I upgraded the software a few weeks ago and since then the headset does not work. I can get the phone pair and recognise the headset, but I hear no sound through the headset. I have tried pair the phone and earpiece a number of times, but no luck.

Nokia BH 600 bluetooth ear piece is not detected by any bluetooth devices. It had worked correctly up until several week ago when i upgraded the software on my Nokia N73 and Nokia E50. I have also tried detecting it from my Ipaq and from my PC (both of which had previously detected the ear piece) but no joy.
Exactly the same happens to me.

Hi, This is NoelG back again. I took my phone to the Nokia Customer Care Centre in Sydney. They were very pleasant and helpful. I waited while they tested the earpiece and phone and they said that the speaker in the earpiece was blown. So they gave me a nother earpiece as it was still under warranty. However, I am back to exactly the same situation that I was at before after the software upgrade on my phone where my previous headset did not work. Unfortunately the Nokie Customer Care Centre did not fix my phone. The phone does pair with the headset, however still no sound can be heard through the new headset. This leads me to believe more so now that the problem was with the software upgared to my phone. Back to where I started. Any advice from anyone would be most appreciated. I do not relish the thought of having to go through all the trouble of going back to Nokia. Help!
