Not out of luck, Dynex.com says to use codes from other model of televisions. The way I did it (I have a DirecTV remote as well) is just did a code search till I found which one turned it off. The only thing it won't do is change which input you use, but the menu, volume and channel controls all work fine.
there is no code for olevia.....(olevia, vizio and dynex are really new) All universals are not yet ready for theses new flat panels.............but you can use olevias remote (rc-ltu) it controls five units (cable box, olevia tv, pioneer laser disc and toshiba dvd plus a vcr if i had one)
