Re: CRAIG MP4 plus video player- disk error message...
Make sure the songs you download are right for your mp4 player because Limewire only plays mp3 songs. so i would go on the internet and find a music site that has mp4 songs

This is because the songs literally cannot fit onto your player. Songs, like all files, take up a certain amount of digital space. Craig MP4 players generally are small in space, usually ranging from 1-4GBs, which will not get you far if you have a lot of songs. The only real solutions for this without buying a new MP3/MP4 player is to be more selective with the songs you put onto it. There is not a way to change the amount of songs something can hold, so you just have to put less onto it. Also, If you put videos onto it, get rid of those first because videos take up way more space than songs.
If you want more space, I would recommend a 8GB or 16GB music player, those are satisfactory for most people with a lot of songs.
Also, for now you could try downgrading the audio quality, which will reduce the file size, effectively making more songs able to fit onto your player, but I would not recommend this because it does create a noticeably worse audio quality.
the reason its showing format error is because the songs you downloaded into it is not compatible with the player. For example, if the song you were suppose to download was to be in AAC format, and you put MP3 format, it will show format error because it does not recognize songs in Mp3 format but with AAC format.
Therefore, when you want to download songs into the Mp4 player, make sure the songs are in either WMA or MP3 Audio format. These audio formats are compatible with Mp4 player.
Also, if you want to download videos, make sure they are in MP4 format.
I'm having the same problem. I know my files are on my mp4 because it says there is only 2% disk space left...i have a Mp4 Digital Audio/video player with built in speakers...it was working fine but i think i may have acidentially deleted something i shouldnt have and i have no idea how to fix it. It also says empty disk when i go to play a song....but i know they are there.
my craig mp4 player just shows a hour glass like everybody else. i have read the solutions but never receive the answers from them. now how to get the hour glass to go away?.....and if so how to reset the device if frozen. thankz for the support when i receive my answer.
Problem: Infitek MP4 player is recognized by Vista and Windows XP but when you try to put files on it, error pops up.
Solution: The MP4 needs to be reformatted to FAT32 file system, here is howto do it:
1) Connect USB cable to PC
2) Connect Infitek to cable.
3) An AutoPlay window will pop up on your PC. Select "Open folders to view files using Windows Explorer"
4) On the left of the explorer window the following will be seen "Removable Disk (?:)" (? can be any letter in the alphabet, most likely E-K)
5) Right click on "Removable Disk (?:)" with your mouse and select "Format"
6) "Format Removable Disk (?:)" window will appear, select FAT32 from the FIle system Combo box and select Quick Format from the Format options and click on START
You may need to format the MP4 more than once, it did not work for mr the first time.
7) After you receive a message, Format completed successfully you can drag and drop any files to the "Removable Disk (?:)" which is the MP4 player storage area.
8) Disconnect the cable, turn on the MP4, if at main menu use the >>| key to get to the Music, Click MENU key to get to the first song, click >|| to play song.
I used .WMA files (Windows Media Player) songs. They seemed to work ok
the best thing to do is RE format the disc. i am currently having the same problem , witch i am tired of fixing them. if the item is from ebay : hong kong , i suggest you tell the buyer and complain. people will do anything for good feedback. saw formatting it will work. but you'll have the same problem in the future. either you copy all your music files to a folder. or buy one from Argos , woolworths etc etc...
