I have just received a flip video ultra HD. I have recorded some video. when I try to play the videos back on my sony bravia HD tv (model number KDL-42V4100) they do not play through the flip camcord
I have the HDMI cable connceted to the flip and the TV. The TV set to the correct HDMI input slot and the videos do not play. The tv indicates no signal. I presss the power button on the flip and press the play button and it does not play.
Could it be the HDMI on the TV? iS THERE ISSUE WITH SONY HDMI INPUTS?

Sounds like there is a short on the power board or the power board has gone faulty.
Look on the power board to see if any of the capacitors are bulged or if there are any other components burnt out. The TV is going into protect mode because of an over current, which points to a short on the board or a component has gone short circuit.

I have a Sony Bravia model KDL-46s5100 that had the same problem. All HDMI ports stopped working. I don't know why this works but unplug the TV for about 30 sec, then plug it back in and hold down the power button on the tv for 10 seconds. Like I said I don't know why this works but it worked for me. Good luck.
