We are Fixya dot com, we don't have (or sell) wall mounted panel heaters. We are not who you think we are.
They are all the same though, remove the front cover and remove the mounting screws, OR, you lift it off the hooks at the back. Make and Model are useful in such questions.
Question edited for clarity 'panal', and 'heather' corrected. Category moved from Television to Wall Heaters.
Under the dash is the heat box and it has two levers on it. One is for changing where the air comes out (floor, vents, defrost) the other is the BLEND door and that controls hot and cold. Look for the levers on the door, move the controls and see which one is not moving or if they both move it could be the DOOR inside the box that is broken off.
this is a small door to control the hot air coming from the heather core to inside room on every vehicle including yours if this part is broken you could get no hot air from your heather or if this part is stuck open you get hot air all the time even with the heather off
Could be the heater core went bad, heather core lines are plugged, cover on the blower motor is off, or if your temp selector is cable, the cable may have seized
If you have the model number of the unit ( a series of Letters with a few numbers in it). You can go to www.desatech.com and find the manual for the unit under "Wall Heaters." In the manuals there are usually troubleshooting guides. Hope this helps!
THE flame from the pilot should shoot past the thermo-couple and heat this up and make a small amount of mili- amps to prove the pilot light is lit. ..So if the flame doesn,t go past the thermo-couple it won, make mili-amps or its tme to change out the thermo-couple, They only cost lest than $8:00 and you can change it!
If the unit still works on cooling you might have a faulty reversing valve/ heating plate. If you are confident with a multi meter you could test if they have power going to it and see if you have a faulty part but it would be best to get some tech help out
Usually, UMC include the screws already screwed into the wall mounting holes that you should use to attach a wall bracket. This is so you dont then go and use longer screws often supplied with wall mounts that are way too long and can damage the parts inside the TV.
